Who’s Jane?

Jane is more than a name around here — she’s part of my story.

From the day I was born, I’ve been lucky to have Janes in my life. First was my godmother, Aunt Jane — an artist, a true original, and a beloved inspiration to me for 57 years.

Then there are four of my dearest lifelong friends: one actual Jane and three wonderful Janets. My daughter Alexa, my granddaughter Eleanor and I all share Jane as a middle name. And my mother-in-law’s given name was Jane, though everyone knew and loved her as Jollie.

These women are smart, creative, loyal, loving, and full of color. They’ve encouraged me, inspired me, and made life brighter in so many ways.

This line of Jane hats is a little tribute to them — and to all the color they bring into my life.
